Opponent- Cincinnati Reds
8 IP, 10 Hits, 4 Runs, 4 Earned, 2 BB, 4K
Mussina (L, 10-5) 3.93 ERA
Mussina lost in a match-up with one of the most promising young pitchers in MLB. Mussina pitched like, dare I say, a staff ace. He gave the Yankees 8 innings, and kept it within 2 runs, which is enough for the Yankees. 11-4 would have been great, but 10-5 is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

We on for Sunday? Around Noon? A bottle of wine for the ladies would be great. I’ll get the beer and food. Let me know if you need better directions.
The best route is cross island to northern state to woodbury road (might be manetto hill road exit, just keep following the signs for woodbury and you’ll end up on woodbury road). About a mile or two north of 25 (jericho turnpike) and just past the cold spring harbor train station, you have to take a left to stay on woodbury road otherwise you’ll end up on route 11 (Pulaski road). Take that left to stay on Woodbury Rd. and continue up Woodbury until 25a (Main Street) in huntington village. Take a right on 25a (there is a bank on the right side of the road and St. Pat’s church/school on the left) to go east to centerport.

So here is the plan, if it works for you. Noon is fine for us, but Jessica’s cousin is having a party in Oyster Bay for her graduation at 3:30. If we came from 12:00-4:00 would that be rude?

No, that’s fine. Oyster Bay is only 15 minutes away. It’s right down 25a just a few miles west/northwest of huntington. By the way, at woodbury road and 25a, there is a brick chase bank on the right hand corner. Take that right.

Sweet.
Grand slams against Santana, weird. by a pitcher, real weird.

By a pitcher who admitted that he swung with his eyes closed, no less. Just one of those years.

Any thoughts on what the knicks should or might do tonight?
